This group is for people who live or used to live in Seattle. Just Seattle. Inside the city limits. If you're born and raised in Seattle, this is a place for you. If you're nostalgic for the old days of Seattle -- whether those be the pre-dotcom boom days, the pre-Boeing Bust days, or the days when you hung out with "Doc" Maynard himself -- this is the group for you.

"Lesser Seattle" was a term coined by Emmett Watson as a counterpoint to a "Greater Seattle" civic movement. Likewise, this community is sort of a counterpoint to the Greater Seattle group.

You don't have to be a native to appreciate (relatively) old Seattle. You are still welcome!
